
At least two men have been killed and one woman injured Sunday in a shooting at a coffee shop in the center of Greece’s capital Athens.
The men who died, of Albanian origin, were 41 and 44 years old. One of them was reportedly linked to local crime, Greek TV station ERT reports.
In addition, the assailant has fled the crime scene, while the area has been cordoned off. According to police, the attacker is said to have fired at least four shots.
According to CCTV footage, a man opened fire on customers of a coffee shop in Nea Smirni square in southern Athens, from where he fled. Police officers are currently searching for the perpetrator of the crime.
