Three people have been killed and four others injured in a shooting early Saturday morning in the wealthy Benecit Canyion neighborhood near Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, California.
The three dead were inside a vehicle on the street, while the four wounded were on the street, according to police sources quoted by the newspaper ‘Los Angeles Times’. Two of the injured are in critical condition and two others are in stable condition, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The suspect has not been arrested.
A spokesman for the LAPD, Sgt. Bruce Borihanh, explained that the related property was a «temporary rental house» that is being investigated for the possible celebration of a party or some kind of social event.
The Fire Department was alerted at 2:55 a.m. and arrived at the scene, where the police were already working. No further details have been released at this time.
A week ago eleven people were shot dead in Monterey Park, also in California, shortly after the Chinese New Year celebrations in an area with a majority Asian population.
