Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky will hold a press conference this Friday on the occasion of the first anniversary of the beginning of the Russian invasion of the country, although details about the time and place of the event have not yet emerged.
«On Friday, February 24, there will be a press conference of the President of Ukraine, Volodimir Zelensky,» the Ukrainian Presidency said in a brief message on its website, where it specified that it will be titled ‘The Year of Indomitability’.
Thus, it stressed that «the time and place of the event will be notified in the letter of accreditation confirmation», which has been opened to one correspondent, one camera operator and one photographer from each media that will be authorized to cover the press conference.
The invasion of Ukraine started on February 24, 2022 by order of Russian President Vladimir Putin, who days before had recognized the independence of the self-proclaimed republics of Donetsk and Lugansk, located in the Donbas (east) and the scene of an armed conflict since 2014.
