The far-right candidate for the Presidency of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro (51.43 percent), has prevailed over his left-wing rival, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (48.57 percent), according to official results corresponding to 22.3 percent of the vote count.
These data disclosed by the Superior Electoral Court on its web page are provisional for the moment and could change as the recount progresses, as already happened in the first round, held last October 2.
Then Bolsonaro appeared as the most voted option until well into the recount, although it was finally Lula who won the most support, although not enough to achieve a direct victory in the first round.
