The Israel Defense Forces (IDF), together with the Shin Bet and the Border Guards, have arrested eight people in a series of anti-terror operations carried out overnight Sunday into Monday in the West Bank.
The Israeli army said that two of the suspects were arrested in the city of Jenin for their alleged involvement in terrorist activities, according to the Jerusalem Post.
Three other men were also arrested in the regional division of Yehuda, where the military seized a weapon, and two others were arrested in Kalkilya after a series of clashes. Subsequently, an eighth person has been arrested in Husan.
All eight suspects have been taken into custody as investigations by authorities continue.
The IDF, which has claimed that no Israeli casualties have been reported, also conducted raids in Nablus throughout the night, where gunfire could be heard.
