Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron held a telephone conversation on Tuesday with strengthening Ukraine’s defensive capabilities and repairing the energy infrastructure as the main issues.
Thus, Zelenski has confirmed on his Twitter profile that the conversation, «extremely important and productive», has served to adopt «specific decisions» on both issues.
«Thank you my friend for your unconditional support,» President Zelenski remarked about a new contact between the two Ukrainian and French leaders in the framework of the war in Ukraine.
The Russian Armed Forces have emphasized their offensive against Ukraine in recent weeks by targeting energy facilities.
