Russia hands over to London a dossier on its involvement in the attack on the Russian Black Sea fleet

Russian authorities on Thursday handed the British ambassador to Moscow, Deborah Bronnert, a dossier containing evidence linking London to the attack suffered by the Russian fleet in the Black Sea last weekend, an event that legitimized the Kremlin to temporarily pull out of the grain export agreement.

This has been confirmed by the Russian diplomatic representative in London, Andrei Kelin, who confirmed that, as Moscow said on Tuesday, once the evidence has been handed over to the British side, it will be published on the Russian Foreign Ministry’s website and its social media profiles.

«The evidence of the involvement of British special forces in the preparation of actions against the fleet in Sevastopol was handed over this morning to the British ambassador,» Kelin said in an interview for SkyNews.

In this context, Kelin warned Thursday that the UK is «too involved» in the conflict in Ukraine, which makes the situation is becoming increasingly «dangerous,» Russian news agency TASS reported.

Already on Tuesday the Kremlin accused the UK authorities of coordinating and perpetrating the September sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines, as well as of being involved in an attack on the Russian fleet in the Black Sea, both extremes denied by the British government.

Moscow alluded to the attack in the Black Sea as an argument to temporarily suspend the agreement signed to export grain from Ukraine, one of the few rapprochements between the parties since Putin launched the military offensive on February 24 and which has been resumed this Wednesday.
