A spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force, Yurii Ignat, has charged that Russia has launched more than 400 Iranian-made kamikaze drones against Ukrainian infrastructure since the start of the war.
Most of these drones were shot down, according to Ignat, who acknowledged, however, that it is «impossible» to destroy 100 percent of these unmanned vehicles.
«Both the cruise missiles and the ‘Shahed-136’ were created to evade anti-aircraft defense systems, so the targets have been achieved,» Ignat said during a television marathon on Yedini Novini television, as reported by the Ukrinform news agency.
The Ukrainian secret services have denounced that Russia has ordered Fatah 110 and Zolfaghar ballistic missiles from Iran, to which should be added some 120 Iskander missiles that Russia itself has.
