Former U.S. President Donald Trump has announced a «big political speech» for this very Thursday, while promising «many big rallies» in the future as part of his bid to represent the Republican Party in the 2024 presidential election.
The former president has launched a message on his social network, Truth Social, where he has detailed that the rally this afternoon will be held at Trump National Doral, a golf club owned by the tycoon located in Miami, in the state of Florida.
«The ‘fake news’ say I’m not doing much campaigning. I tell them that they are stupid and corrupt, and that the elections are still a long way off,» said the former president, who announced his candidacy in mid-November.
However, Trump has not been particularly active in recent months, probably influenced by the thrashing of his most like-minded candidates in the mid-term elections, where the Republicans did gain control of the House of Representatives but fell far short of completely dominating the Capitol.
Regarding this, former President Trump has promised that he will hold «many big rallies» and «other events» in the future. «Everything will be wild and exciting. We are going to save our country from perdition and make America great again,» he has concluded.
