Ukrainian authorities have advocated Thursday for the «destruction» of Russia within its own borders to prevent it from continuing to be «one of the few countries that has colonies on its territory.»
This was theorized by the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksi Danilov, at a security forum in Kiev, where he accused Russia of having destroyed «a large number of nations, languages and cultures».
«They need to be destroyed so that they cease to exist as a country within their own borders because Russia is one of the few countries that has colonies on its territory,» said Danilov, who has described the Russians as «barbarians.»
«I think it is not appropriate when they say that we should sit at the same table with these barbarians and talk,» said Danilov, who has drawn parallels between Hitler and President Vladimir Putin. «They are Siamese twins,» he compared.
Danilov has denounced the death of «hundreds» of children in this war «just because someone in the Kremlin» wanted it that way. «They are thieves who constantly stole someone’s story. They constantly demand something, but they are not at all worthy of anyone in the world to communicate with them,» he has said.
At the same time, he emphasized that after the end of the war, which has been going on for more than nine months, Russia will not only have to pay reparations to Ukraine, but its nuclear weapons should be taken away from it just as «children have their matches taken away from them so that they do not burn the house down,» Ukrinform reports.
Danilov pointed out that just as in 1994 Ukraine was asked to hand over its nuclear weapons to Russia «free of charge», today «some reciprocity is necessary» since leaving such an arsenal on Russian territory is to continue the danger. «It is only a matter of time before the next tsar loses his head and starts a war not against us, but against any neighbor.»
