Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday oversaw nuclear deterrent force exercises, during which ballistic and cruise missiles were launched.
The maneuvers, which involved movements by land, sea and air, served to verify the level of readiness of forces that Putin has threatened to mobilize in the framework of the war launched in Ukraine, according to a Kremlin statement.
The Russian Presidency affirmed that all the missiles launched successfully reached their targets.
