The authorities of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) have accused the Ukrainian Armed Forces of launching an air strike on the town of Vladimirovka in which at least two people have been killed.

As reported by the Army of Donetsk, a pro-Russian state annexed by Moscow at the end of September after a referendum not recognized by a large part of the international community, the Ukrainian bombing also left at least three people wounded.

Moscow reported the annexation of both Donetsk and neighboring Lugansk and the Kherson and Zaporiyia regions after a series of accession consultations that yielded overwhelming results in favor of joining Russia.

Despite this, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have gone ahead with their counter-offensives in order to regain these territories over which Russia advanced notoriously, especially in the early stages of the war, which started at the end of February.

In fact, in the last hours the Ukrainian authorities have reported success in several of these operations in the Kherson region, and even published images of the provincial administration building to show that the Russian flag no longer flies on the facade.
