Seven people were killed on Monday in Tutak, in Turkey’s Agri province in the east of the country, after a bus collided with two trucks.
The images released show a column of smoke and high flames over the wreckage of the vehicles at the scene of the accident. Ambulances and fire trucks were sent to the area and an investigation has been opened into what happened, according to the Turkish newspaper ‘Daily Sabah’.
Other Turkish media have reported that the bus was carrying 21 people when it collided with two trucks carrying vegetables that had previously collided with each other.
The injured have been taken to nearby hospitals and the fire was extinguished in a short time by firefighters. The road was closed to traffic.
