
French energy company Engie posted a turnover of 69.344 billion euros between January and September, up 85.3 percent compared to the same period in 2021, according to partial accounts published Thursday by the company.
«Engie has delivered in unprecedented market conditions and we continue to play a leading role in supporting security of supply,» Engie CEO Catherine MacGregor stressed.
On its side, gross operating profit (Ebitda) was €10.665 billion, up 47.7 percent compared to the €7.222 billion the company posted in the first nine months of 2021.
Net operating profit (Ebit) was €7.254 billion, up 84.4 percent. Between January and September last year, the French energy company’s Ebit was €3,934 million.
The company noted that it had added 2.5 gigawatts of renewable generation capacity through September, putting it on track to achieve its annual target of installing 4 GW for the year as a whole.
