At least two people have been killed and two others injured Friday in a Russian attack on a residential building in the southern Ukrainian city of Mikolaiv, Ukrainian authorities said.

The head of the Mikolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitali Kim, said on Telegram that Russian troops «have responded to the Ukrainian Armed Forces with a rocket attack on a five-storey residential building.» «There are two dead and two wounded,» he has lamented.

For his part, Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky has noted that «Russia does not abandon its despicable tactics,» Ukrainian news agency UNIAN has reported. «We do not give up our struggle. The occupiers will be responsible for all crimes against Ukraine and Ukrainians,» he reiterated.
