The U.S. government has «roundly» condemned the wave of attacks launched Tuesday on Ukraine and warned that these attacks «will only serve to increase the concerns of the G20,» whose leaders are meeting in Bali (Indonesia).
The White House National Security Advisor, Jake Sullivan, regretted in a statement that, precisely at a time when «issues of significant importance to the lives of people around the world» are being discussed, Russia «is once again threatening these lives and destroying critical infrastructure in Ukraine».
In this regard, Sullivan stressed his support for the «courageous» Ukrainian people, «who continue to demonstrate resilience and bravery in defending their sovereignty and democracy.»
«The United States and our partners and allies will continue to provide Ukraine with everything it needs to defend itself, including air defense systems. We will be with Ukraine for as long as it takes,» he added.
