Polish authorities have indicated that Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki will «soon» travel to Kiev, the Ukrainian capital, to discuss with Ukrainian authorities the migration issue in the wake of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
«Mateusz Morawiecki will again travel to Kiev. The Prime Minister’s visit was requested by (Ukrainian) President Volodimir Zelenski and (Ukrainian) Prime Minister Denis Shmigal,» they said, according to information from radio station RMF FM.
Thus, they indicated that they intend to address the situation of millions of Ukrainian refugees who have arrived in the country since the invasion began at the end of February.
In this regard, they said that Poland «wants to help, especially women, children and elderly people», so the Cabinet plans to meet this afternoon to address this issue.
