Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky warned Sunday that Russia wants to add winter and cold weather to its «terrorist» arsenal and called for resistance.
«The enemy hopes to use winter against us: let cold and hardship be part of their terror. We have to do everything we can to survive this winter. No matter what it costs or how difficult it is. Persist and persevere,» Zelenski encouraged in a message posted on social networks.
Zelenski also stressed that Russia still has the advantage in missiles and artillery, «but we have something that the occupiers do not have and never will have: we are protecting our homes and that gives us the best possible motivation.
Ukrainians are fighting for their freedom and are defending the truth. «To survive the winter we have to be more resilient and more united than ever.»
