Ukrainian authorities on Tuesday denounced the death of at least five civilians at the hands of Russian forces in attacks on the country over the past day as part of the invasion of the territory.
In the last 24 hours, at least three civilians have died and five have been killed by Russian artillery in the Donetsk region, the ‘number two’ of the Ukrainian Presidency, Kirilo Timoshenko, has said on his Telegram account.
Thus, in the Kherson region, where shelling has also been recorded, two people have been killed and three wounded. Throughout Monday, Russia shelled at least nine regions of the country, including Kiev, which also suffered a new drone attack.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine then noted that such attacks were executed from the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov and remarked that «the Air Force, in cooperation with other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, destroyed 30 ‘Shahed’ of the Russian occupants.»
