At least two people were injured in a vehicle explosion in the center of the city of Melitopol, which is currently under the control of Russian forces in the framework of the invasion of Ukraine.
The pro-Russian authorities of the town, located in the Zaporiyia region, said that the explosion of the vehicle was registered in the vicinity of the Gorky park, according to information from the TASS news agency.
«The explosion took place near the entrance to Gorky Park, where a car exploded under circumstances that are still under investigation,» said the chairman of the regional movement We Are Together with Russia, Vladimir Rogov. He said that emergency teams are deployed in the area.
