The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense reported Saturday that Finland will send a new military aid package, the eleventh since the start of the Russian invasion ten months ago, this time worth 28.8 million euros.
Ukraine has transferred that Finland’s decision took place last December 20. In total, they emphasize, the Nordic country has allocated military equipment and aid amounting to 189.2 million euros.
The Finnish Minister of Defense, Antti Kaikkonen, has confirmed that military aid to Ukraine will continue as long as the war continues, as Ukraine’s need for equipment and armaments «is great».
At the same time, Finnish forces will continue to participate in the training of Ukrainian troops in the UK. In August, Finland sent about 20 instructors to this operation at the request of the British authorities.
