Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has urged the United States to work «to establish the pillars and a solid foundation for a healthy and stable growth» of relations between the two countries.
This is what the head of Chinese diplomacy said at a symposium on international relations, in which he rejected the «wrong» policy of the United States towards China,» according to the Chinese channel CGTN.
Against this, he stressed that the Asian country has been «exploring the right path for the two countries to get along well», a context in which he called on the US authorities to «establish an objective and sensible perception of China».
He also called on the US to «pursue a positive and pragmatic policy towards China» and try to establish «solidly based» relations.
On the other hand, the Chinese Foreign Minister referred to relations with Russia, relations in which, he said, «good neighborliness, friendship and cooperation» have deepened.
Wang also expressed his commitment to the development of relations between China and Europe. «On the basis of mutual respect and equality, we will continuously work with the European side to properly handle differences and disagreements, strengthen strategic communication and result-oriented cooperation, and jointly act as an anchor of stability for the Eurasian continent and serve as a new power of development and prosperity,» he has asserted.
