Russian authorities have claimed Thursday to have shot down several Ukrainian drones in the Bryansk region, located near the common border, and stressed that «there are no damages or casualties».
«Our air defense system operates on the territory of the Klintsovsky district. There are no damages and no casualties. As a result of these operations, drones have been shot down,» Bryansk Governor Alexander Bogomaz said in a message on his Telegram account.
Bryansk and other Russian regions located on the border have been the scene of attacks attributed to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the framework of the invasion of Ukraine, unleashed on February 24 on the orders of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
