Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Saturday raised the need for his Western allies to deliver more weapons to combat Russian «missile terror», referring to the latest missile that killed 12 people in the city of Dnipro.
«Those weapons that are in the warehouses of our partners and are waiting for our soldiers» are according to Zelenski the best way to «stop the Russians.» «Unfortunately there is no other way to stop the Russians if not on the battlefield, in Ukraine,» he has argued.
Thus, Zelenski has assured that during the day there have been registered impacts of «more than 30 missiles», of which «more than 20 have been shot down». «Hundreds of lives were saved,» he stressed.
He also referred to the announcement by the United Kingdom of the dispatch of Challenger 2 battle tanks. It is what we really need and I believe that other partners will take similar decisions because they understand that evil cannot be given a single chance. Because that evil knows no borders,» he said.
«Glory be to all those who have lost their lives to racism! Glory be to all those who protect the people!» he proclaimed, while appealing to «do everything possible to stop racism just as the free world stopped Nazism.»
