Slovakia announced Monday a new delivery to Ukraine of a new Zuzana-2 self-propelled howitzer, the eighth since Russia decided to start the invasion almost eleven months ago now «The eighth Zuzana-2 howitzer is already in the hands of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,» Slovakia’s Defense Minister Yaroslav Nagy announced on Twitter, for whom this new delivery is a sign of his country’s commitment to Kiev.
In addition to the self-propelled howitzers supplied by Slovakia, Germany, Denmark and Norway bought 16 others – worth almost 92 million euros – to be delivered to Ukraine.
Capable of firing six projectiles per minute at distances of up to 40 kilometers, their design allows the use of any of the 155-millimeter missiles used in NATO space.
