Thousands of people demonstrated on Monday in the streets of the French city of Strasbourg to protest against the executions of demonstrators in Iran and called for a clear response to the repression unleashed by the regime in Tehran.
According to the organizers, around 12,000 people attended the demonstration, which included banners against the Iranian Revolutionary Guard – which they are calling for to be included in the terrorism list – as well as against Iranian diplomats.
Meanwhile, the solidarity with the victims in the framework of the protests after the death of the young Mahsa Amini has also moved to the capital of France, Paris, where the Eiffel Tower has been illuminated with slogans such as «Woman, life and freedom» or «Stop the executions in Iran».
This measure, as reported by the mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, pays tribute to the people of Iran and is a reminder that Iranians «fight for their rights and freedom». «Let the executions cease and the will of the Iranian people triumph,» she has demanded on her Twitter profile.
