The vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, has accused on Wednesday the Venezuelan opposition of never keeping its word, calling them «rascals» and a «real disaster».
«In Venezuela we have had an opposition leadership that is characterized by lies, deceit, theft, cheating, a real disaster, they never keep their word, they are rascals,» Cabello said in a message on the social network Twitter.
In this sense, he stressed that the Venezuelan government expects the opposition to comply with the agreements signed at the Dialogue Table that was set up in Mexico more than a month ago.
The declarations of the ‘number two’ of chavismo take place after the Executive and the opposition have initiated dialogues to advance in the construction of future electoral scenarios.
Likewise, Cabello’s statements come weeks after the opposition National Assembly of Venezuela dissolved the «interim» government of Juan Guaidó for the sake of talking with Maduro’s government.
