Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has warned of forming a «mini-alliance» of Ukraine’s allies if Germany does not finally deliver Leopard tanks to the Ukrainian army, the head of the Polish government said in an interview in which he described Berlin’s misgivings in this regard as «unacceptable».

«Almost a year has passed since the outbreak of the war. The evidence of Russian war crimes can even be seen on YouTube. What more does Germany need to open its eyes and start acting in accordance with its potential?» the prime minister demanded.

Morawiecki has explained that Germany would not even have to activate all its resources and that only a small percentage of them would already be a breakthrough. «But above all,» he warned, «Berlin should not undermine or sabotage the activities of other countries» in the delivery of tanks.

«The enemy is in the east,» the prime minister warned in his interview with the official Polish news agency, PAP, «while we waste time in discussions that do no good.»

In addition, he criticized the economic policy of appeasement pursued by the German government in recent years. «They hoped to tame the Russian bear with generous contracts,» he said, before assuring that «even today Germany is still having difficulty admitting the mistake» that this initiative entailed.

«I try to measure my words, but I will say it bluntly,» the Prime Minister reiterated, «Ukraine and Europe will win this war, with or without Germany.»
