Russia’s ambassador to Estonia, Vladimir Lipaev, has accused the international community of planning to send significant arms packages to Estonia in order to get «within range» of Russian cities such as St. Petersburg.
Lipaev has indicated that the West is planning to transfer «its most modern weaponry» to exert greater pressure on Moscow in the midst of the war in Ukraine, according to information gathered by the TASS news agency.
In this sense, he mainly accused the «Anglo-Saxon» countries and indicated that «they are interested in creating an anti-Russian post in Estonia to put pressure not only economically, politically and culturally on the country, but also militarily».
«Estonia is being actively armed, although it is not very clear why. These are conventional weapons that are capable of targeting St. Petersburg and have air defense systems for medium-range missiles,» he has asserted.
