Michelle Bolsonaro landed Thursday night in Brasilia after having been in the United States since December 30, where her husband, former President Jair Bolsonaro, whose return to Brazil remains an unknown even among some of his closest friends.
Bolsonaro is still in Orlando, Florida, and his return remains unclear. The information is contradictory, while some, such as the president of the Liberal Party (PL), Valdemar Costa, speak that he could return next week, others of his close circle affirm that there is no date yet decided.
Bolsonaro himself stated a few days after having to be admitted to a hospital on January 9 for abdominal problems resulting from the stabbing he suffered in 2018, that he would bring forward his return to Brazil to be treated by his doctors. However, there he continues in Orlando.
