Russia’s Defense Ministry on Saturday denounced a «deliberate» attack by the Ukrainian Army on a medical center in the Moscow-controlled area of eastern Lugansk region that has left at least 14 dead and 24 wounded.
According to the Ministry, the Ukrainian attack was carried out this Saturday, at around 07.30 local time, with a multiple launch rocket launching platform (HIMARS) against a hospital in the town of Novoaidar.
The attack has left «at least 14 dead and 24 wounded of varying severity among hospital patients and medical staff», according to the note, in which the Ministry reiterates that the position and activity of the hospital were known and detailed as a civilian infrastructure.
The Ministry of Defense has qualified this attack as «a serious war crime of the Kiev regime and has assured that «all those involved in the planning and commission of this crime will have to assume their responsibility».
The Ukrainian authorities have not yet commented on this accusation.
