The head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Andriy Yermak, has assured on Monday to have «positive signals» about the possible supply of fighter jets by the Polish authorities.
«Work continues on obtaining F16 fighters. We have positive signals from Poland, which is ready to transmit them in coordination with the Atlantic Alliance,» Yermak said on his Telegram channel.
After weeks of insistence, Ukraine finally succeeded last week in getting Germany to unblock the shipment of Leopard tanks by third countries and Berlin to also commit to supplying such battle tanks.
Following this, the Ukrainian authorities have now set their claims on fighter jets, «a great companion» for the battle tanks and with which to succeed in turning «Russian enemies» into «fertilizer».
