The governor of Ukraine’s Luganks region, Sergei Gaidai, has warned that the Russian Armed Forces are preparing to launch «massive attacks» «around the clock» over the next few days.
As detailed by Gaidai on his official Telegram channel, the Russians have already launched small offensives in several directions in the region thanks to their abundant military equipment and having «a lot of reserve personnel».
Thus, Gaidai informed that these first Russian offensives have been registered in the localities of Bilogorivka, a city that has been attacked «from all sides»; in Kremin, where Russia has deployed «a lot of personnel»; and in Swatic, where the situation is more «stable».
The Ukrainian authorities have warned in recent weeks of a possible major Russian offensive on the occasion of the first anniversary of the outbreak of the war on February 24.
