Former U.S. President Donald Trump has assured Monday at a campaign event that he is the only candidate for the 2024 presidential election capable of preventing a Third World War.
I am the only candidate who can make this promise: I will prevent World War III,» said the former president in a speech in the town of Davenport, in the state of Iowa, reported ‘NewsWeek’.
In this sense, Trump has stated that he believes that the world is facing a war of such dimensions, accusing the Biden Administration of being »incapable of speaking well» and of leading the country to a nuclear war »that could end the world».
»It will be a nuclear war (…) So this is not like a World War II, where we have Army tanks and rifles and we’re chasing each other. This is a level that will possibly end the world. And we have people who don’t know what they’re doing,» the former president added.
