At least two civilians were killed on Wednesday as a result of the latest offensives by Russian troops on several localities in the Kharkov region of eastern Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office has reported one of the deaths in the Dvorichna district after an airstrike on residential buildings that has also left several wounded, it details on its Telegram account.

The said locality was again bombed hours later. The next fatality succumbed to his wounds in the hospital to which he had been taken.

Meanwhile, in the neighboring region of Kherson, one person was killed and another injured when the vehicle in which they were traveling hit a mine in the Berislav district.

On Wednesday, Ukraine successfully repelled about thirty Russian forces’ attacks on the towns of Liman, Bakhmut, Avdivka and Marinka, located in the Donetsk region.

In Bajmut and Marinka «the fiercest battles» are taking place, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
