Nearly 300 demonstrators gathered Thursday, as part of protests against pension reform, in front of the headquarters of the French luxury company Louis Vuitton, near the Champs Elysees, and several of them have forced their doors, even occupying the lobby for several minutes.
A group of railway workers demonstrating near the Paris-Lyon Station marched in procession along Avenue Montaigne and gathered in front of the store, after which several demonstrators, ‘yellow vests’, forced the doors and entered the lobby with red flares and flags.
Several of them have placed vindictive stickers in the lobby, without entering other areas, while dozens of protesters waited outside, urging calm, as reported by the newspaper ‘Le Parisien’.
According to data from the Paris Police Headquarters, 25 arrests have been made so far and this figure is expected to rise due to the presence of violent subjects, mainly ‘yellow vests’ and far-left members. Despite this, most of the marches are proceeding normally.
The scenes of tension in the framework of the protests in Paris have been reminiscent of the latest incidents of last April 6, when a group of workers occupied the headquarters of the US investor Black Rock on their way to the National Assembly.
