Sudanese Army planes have bombed the headquarters of the paramilitary Rapid Action Forces (RSF), the Soba camp, in the country’s capital, Khartoum, as part of the fighting that has broken out between the two formations and which has left the civil transition process in the African country on the verge of total collapse.

In its communiqué, the army also reported the destruction of more than 80 vehicles of the paramilitary formation, now, according to the military, in the process of withdrawal from strategic areas of the capital.

The colonel of the Sudanese Army, Khaled Abdullah, has also assured the pan-Arab channel Al Jazeera that the military forces are about to take control of the international airport of Khartoum, in dispute since this morning, as well as to stabilize the situation in the military base of Meroe, about 220 kilometers from the capital and also the scene of clashes.

The army has urged the population to stay in their homes given the situation of violence and chaos, according to the note, according to the Sudan Ajbar news portal.
