Russian Armed Forces on Wednesday shot down two Ukrainian UAVs over the Crimean peninsula with no injuries or fatalities.
»The air defense forces have shot down two attack drones,» Oleg Kriuchkov, adviser to the head of Crimea for Information Policy, has reported, Russian news agency TASS reports.
For his part, the Russian leader of Crimea, Sergei Aksionov, has urged the local population to »remain calm» and trust »only reliable sources of information».
On the other hand, the mentioned news agency has pointed out that own sources have informed about the appearance of remains of a drone in Kolomna, a little more than a hundred kilometers from the capital, Moscow.
According to the aforementioned source, the authorities have found fragments of an unmanned aerial vehicle and a small crater has been located at the crash site.
