Wagner Group leader Yevgeny Prigozhin assured on Wednesday that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have finally launched their counter-offensive to regain the ground lost since the outbreak of the war, which started at the end of February 2022.
According to the head of the Wagner Group, one of the main allies of Russian President Vladimir Putin, both the Ukrainian military personnel and projectiles appear to be »unlimited,» Prigozhin’s press service reports on Telegram.
On the other hand, Prigozhin has reported that Wagner units — a paramilitary organization allied with the Kremlin — have managed to advance in the last day just 230 meters in the town of Bajmut, the main theatre of hostilities between Kiev and Moscow.
According to the leader of the Wagner Group, the Russian Armed Forces already occupy 54 square kilometers of the mentioned locality, while the Ukrainian troops barely defend little more than 2.5 square kilometers.
