The United States has announced new sanctions against Russia, this time targeting the military supply chain, basic to sustaining the Russian war effort in Ukraine.
Specifically mentioned are the Russian company Milandr, specialized in the manufacture of microelectronics, and three related companies with headquarters in Armenia, Taiwan and Switzerland.
Also sanctioned is «a global network» linked to two Russian businessmen close to the Kremlin with funds in the West, according to the Treasury Department.
In total, 14 individuals and 28 entities are named, including two Swiss citizens and several companies in Switzerland and France. Any assets held in the United States will be seized and U.S. citizens are prohibited from doing business with them.
