Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi has defended the Qatari government’s «efforts» to organize the first World Cup in the Arab world, which he urged to be «proud of».
The country «has never said it is perfect», argued Safadi, who participated in a press conference at the end of a meeting of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) in Barcelona.
The head of diplomacy has defended in a press conference that the Qatari authorities have done everything possible to «modernize» the country, before a World Cup that «is unique in many ways».
