
The director of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, announced Monday his decision to deploy safety and security missions to all nuclear power plants in Ukraine.
After holding a meeting in Paris with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmigal, Grossi announced that he had reached an agreement with the head of the Ukrainian government to deploy IAEA missions to every nuclear power plant in the country.
«Excellent meeting with Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal (…) We agreed to deploy IAEA safety and security missions to all Ukrainian nuclear power plants,» he detailed in a message on the social network Twitter.
In this regard, he stressed that the work on the establishment of the protection zone of the Zaporiyia nuclear power plant is continuing.
