The Moldovan Ministry of Defense informed on Monday that from Tuesday until February 4 all areas of the country’s Armed Forces will participate in a large-scale tactical training program.
As detailed by the Defense Ministry, these trainings, in which more than 400 soldiers are expected to participate, are aimed at «assessing the capabilities and practical skills of all military personnel».
According to the Government’s plans, the soldiers will have to perform various tasks using military equipment, provide first aid and practice actions in the conditions of a chemical attack, according to the News Maker portal.
Although the Moldovan authorities have taken security measures in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, this time Chisinau emphasized that the training is not related to the ongoing conflict.
This is why the Moldovan authorities have expressly asked the public «not to speculate» on the issue of training and the movement of military equipment.
