Former Russian president and current deputy chairman of the country’s Security Council, Dmitry Medvedev, has assured that Ukraine depends «one thousand percent» on the armament of the Atlantic Alliance and money from Western nations to continue offering resistance against Russia in the war.
In a belligerent message on his official Telegram channel, the high-ranking Russian official lashed out against Ukraine and its president, Volodymyr Zelensky, although without mentioning him, referring to him as «a ridiculous operetta figure in a greasy green T-shirt», in reference to the president’s usual olive-colored clothing.
«This creature (alluding to Zelenski) is not even a clown anymore, but just a circus dog, a poodle at the feet of his trainer, barking at his pat. Everyone understands this,» asserted Medvedev, who criticized the Ukrainian president for refusing, according to him, to refuse to sit at the dialogue table and question Russia’s leadership.
At this point, Medvedev has accused the «patient in green», whom he has diagnosed with a «real psychological problem», of asking for weapons and money from Western powers but at the same time insisting that Ukraine will neither surrender nor sit down at the table to negotiate. «These delusions are strongly supported by Western ‘doctors’,» he has lamented.
«Western ‘doctors’ regularly visit the patient at the place of residence. They also give him (…) money, weapons and verbal injections that stimulate his delusional state,» the former Russian president has concluded.
